- Archangel Raphael works with the healing angels and Mother Mary, Queen of the Angels, to heal you and your loved ones.
- Raphael helps us study music, mathematics and science.
- You can pray to him every day.
SUGGESTED MUSIC: The ‘Messiah’ by G. F. Handel is wonderful meditation for the Archangel Raphael and Mother Mary. Piano music is especially associated with the green ray of Raphael and Mary.

Healing Angels
Archangel Raphael is your friend of light.
He is there for you when you need him.
Remember to call to him!

Raphael’s name means “God has healed.”
He is the leader of the green
angels of God’s healing.
He works with Mother Mary,
often called the Queen of the Angels.
His spiritual home or retreat is in Fatima, Portugal.

Find Fatima, Portugal on your world map and place a green marker on it.
Archangel Raphael’s jobs
Archangel Raphael is known as the angel of science, knowledge and healing. Old Jewish stories tell of Raphael teaching Noah about the healing power of plants and herbs.
The ancient book of Enoch says that Raphael’s responsibilities include healing the diseases and wounds of men. He works with Mother Mary and the healing angels to heal the bodies, minds and souls of people of all ages.
If you or anyone you know is sick, call to the angels to remove any negative energy that is making them sick and to come to heal them. Sometimes people learn lessons from being sick, and the angels cannot heal them right away. But we can keep asking them to help, and our prayers may be answered.
Activity 2: Healing Herbs
Learn about at least two herbs commonly used for healing.
Someone in your family may know, you can look on the Internet
or visit a health food store where someone may be able to tell you about herbs.
Make some herbal tea and share a cup with a friend or family member.
What can I ask Archangel Raphael for?
- To give you wholeness, spiritual vision and truth
- To heal your body, your mind and your spirit
- To help you with your studies in music, mathematics and science as well as alternative healing methods
- To make sure you have enough food, clothing, shelter and what you need for your work
- World service – Archangel Raphael helps to heal the division between nations, helps wounded soldiers and helps inspire scientists with new cures for diseases.
How do I ask him to help?
- Prayer – You can ask for Archangel Raphael’s immediate help anytime with a short powerful prayer,
“I AM the resurrection
and the life of my perfect health,
now made manifest!”
- Decree –You can learn “The Hail Mary,” a special prayer to Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Give it three times as you pray for whatever spiritual or physical gifts you need:
Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us, sons and daughters of God,
Now and at the hour of our victory
Over sin, disease and death.
- Visualization – When you give this prayer, the Hail Mary, millions of angels answer you! You can visualize a powerful violet fire around your heart or whatever part of the body, mind or spirit that needs healing.
- Daily prayers – The best way to make sure Archangel Raphael and Mother Mary will always be there for you is to call to them EVERY DAY.
